Somellier’s Finest Wine Tasting
Every day (inc. Saturday and Sunday) from 10:00am – 6.30pm
Enjoy a tasting of 3 wines: IGT Toscana, Chianti Classico & Chianti Classico Riserva.
Served in our “Cantinetta San Jacopo”, with its splendid panoramic terrace overlooking the Greve valley and located next to the vineyards.
€ 5.00 per person. Booking is not required.

Count Agostino’s Wine and Gastronomy Lunch 2h and 30min
From Monday to Friday at 11:30 am.
Guided tour of the vineyards (weather permitting), the historical cellars and the Castle’s Italian Gardens.
Followed by a tasting of 4 wines and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, served with:
Pappardelle (pasta) with wild boar sauce,
"Stufato contadino” (beef marinated in herbs and pot stewed) with a seasonal vegetable,
“Cantucci” biscuits to accompany the Vin Santo.
The wines: IGT Ripa delle Mandorle (Sangiovese & Cabernet Sauvignon), Chianti Classico DOCG San Jacopo (Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino), Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG Agostino Petri (Sangiovese, canaiolo and Cabernt Sauvignon) James Suckling 90 score Vin Santo.
€40.00 per person: inclusive of service, taxes and mineral water.
Juniors under 10, smaller portions of the meal at €15.00.

Gold Wine Tour 1 hour and 15 minutes
From Monday to Friday (except on Wednesday) at 4.30 pm.
Guided tour of the vineyards (weather permitting), the historical cellars and the Castle’s gardens followed by a tasting of 3 wines (IGT Toscana, Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva) together with local salami.
Served in our “Cantinetta San Jacopo” , with its splendid panoramic terrace overlooking the Greve valley and located next to the vineyards.
Tour + Tasting  €15.00 inclusive of service and taxes.

Baron Littifredo’s Wednesday evening “Tuscan Family Banquet”

Every Wednesday 6:15 pm.
A special event in which to visit the wine cellars and enjoy five of Castello Vicchiomaggio's prize winning wines (free of charge) with seasonal specialities.
6.15 pm meet in the Castle’s garden for a wine cellar tour followed by a refreshing glass of our rosé or white wine according to availability.
7:45pm approx. Enjoy a four course dinner of seasonal Tuscan recipes served in one of the Castle’s Renaissance ball rooms.
10.30pm. End of the banquet, restaurant close.
A glass each of: Ripa delle Mandorle IGT; Ripa delle More Super Tuscans; Chianti Classico Riserva Agostino Petri  and Il Santo dessert wine are offered free of charge.
€55.00 per person, inclusive of service, taxes, mineral water, coffee and a glass of each of the above wines free of charge.
Juniors under 10, smaller portions of the meal at €25.00.
Alternate beverages, available for non wine drinkers.

Ideal for guests who require a private visit:
Guided tour of the vineyards (weather permitting) and the historical cellars and garden of the castle, followed by typical lunch with wine tasting.
A tasting of 6 wines: IGT Ripa delle Mandorle (Sangiovese e Cabernet Sauvignon), Chianti Classico DOCG San Jacopo (Sangiovese, Canaiolo e Colorino), Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG Vigna La Prima (100% Sangiovese) 92 points with James Suckling and IGT Supertuscan “Ripa delle More” (Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot)

Cooking Class Tuesday and Thursday
Discover the secrets of Tuscan cooking at Castello Vicchiomaggio with the help of our chefs, working in the kitchen and in the classroom, participants will learn how to prepare typical Tuscan food.
Learn how to cook a satisfying, Tuscan meal from appetizers to dessert, including the art of making pasta fresca: ravioli, tagliatelle, gnocchi and tortelli.
Participants will then enjoy the dishes during lunch or dinner in conjunction with our wines.
€140.00 per person, minimum requested 2 people. Booking is required, subject to availability. The lesson is hold in English or Italian.
