The Winery

Castello Vicchiomaggio, located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, is an estate covering 140 hectares, of which 24 are dedicated to vineyards planted with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Alongside the historic production of Chianti Classico, the estate also produces IGT Toscana wines, crafted with passion and in keeping with the Matta family’s long-standing tradition.
The property also includes 11 hectares in the Maremma area, in the Vallemaggiore locality, enriching the range with wines of distinctive character.
